Once, there was a
little villager named JATMIKO. He lived
in an isolated place. He went to school by walking up and down bills for about
2 miles, which made him very strong.
One day, when the teacher was
selecting pupils to represent the school in a sport competition. Of course, he
was chosen for the next competition. He had to run the 100 m sprint.
At the competition, when his name
was called to go into the arena, he was very nervous : he felt as if he were
defeated before the contest began. The applause of the spectators only made him
more nervous. The teacher supported him, but this was not enough. Fortunately,
he was greeted by a boy named WAHONO who was a villager, too. JATMIKO didn’t
feel alone then. It encouraged him to
enter the track. He promised, at least, to defeat WAHONO. He succeeded in becoming the champion. Moreover, WAHONO was the runner up. JATMIKO was very happy and
this victory really encouraged him to achieve further success.
